He wrote: 'Had first session wit our new right back cesar azpilicueta, hope to see victor moses with us soon as well, 2 good young players.'
Azpilicueta, who was left out of Marseille's squad for Thursday's Europa League clash with FC Sheriff Tiraspol, said on Tuesday: 'If my departure can help Marseille's finances, then it is a good deal for everyone concerned.
'I thank the club's fans for their standing ovation. They have always been good to me, even when things haven’t gone well.'
The Olympian has little competition for places in his preferred right-back berth - although he began his career as a winger - with regular Branislav Ivanovic having made no secret of his desire to play at centre-back.
Plenty of promise: Azpilicueta is rated as one of the best young full-backs in Europe
He played 69 times for the club having joined them from Osasuna in June 2010.
Meanwhile, Roberto Di Matteo confirmed Chelsea are close to completing the signing of Victor Moses from Wigan.
The clubs have agreed a fee of £9m for Moses after Chelsea's fifth offer for the 21-year-old Nigeria winger was accepted.
Incoming: Victor Moses is on the brink of completing his move to Chelsea from Wigan
'He had a very good season last year and hopefully we can progress his development. He can play on either wing and wing and will give the team width. He has good dribbling ability, has pace and is powerful.
'We've tried very hard to get this player. We like him very much. He's young and hopefully he'll be the future of the club.'
